- I am currently a doctoral student at the University of Houston, working towards a degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Instructional Technology. I also teach third and fourth grade computer each day at an independent school in Houston, Texas.
This is a poster I created through Glogster, using a picture of my husband and my niece, Claire - two of my very favorite people in the world! Although this program is somewhat more difficult to use than Wordle, there are definitely ways in which it could be very helpful for classroom teachers and students. In fact, I viewed other posters shared through Glogster that had been created by teachers, either to display pictures of activities at school or to share information being taught (such as ways in which to save electricity). So, although my second graders might not be able to use this program independently, I could utilize it to display posters for them or their parents to view.
